Welcome friends

Glad you are checking in on the blog. You'll find that it is mostly focused on skin care but I may occasionally write about other things. Know the skin your in is also about being comfortable with one's self and sharing that with you. Be it about beauty or personal life. As a mom, I may be compelled to speak of my children. When it strikes me of course.

Please share any thoughts or questions you may have. I will do my best to reply. Have a product that your not sure about, ask me, happy to do the research or share my thoughts on it.

I do have three little ones at home so it makes it hard to blog regularly. However, I will do my best!

Thanks for stopping by.

About Me

Just a bit about me...

I graduated  from the  Fashion Institute Technology with a minor in Communication Design and Major in Advertising and Marketing Communications. Worked for a large book publishing firm, as a marketing coordinator. After a few years, the market plunged and I found myself unemployed.  I took the opportunity to follow a passion of mine, skin care.

Now I am a European trained Aesthetician focusing on educating my friends, family and clients on skin care and health. I have worked for a laser chain, L'BEL Paris' USA as in independent consultant, J.R. Watkins Representative and continue to work freelance.  I am openly obsessed about packaging, skin care and make-up products. My love of product is why I have a Marketing and design degree. From the packaging, the brand or product itself, I really love it.  I am always happy to try something out and share the information with you. So blogging about this just seemed like the next logical step. I look at nature and science based products for recommendations. I especially love looking for items that can help you right out of your own pantry. You really could be surprised on what you could find and how it helps the skin.

It's that idea of straight from the pantry that has also led me to "Real Foods" for my family. So there will be times that I also share recipes for your family to eat. When feeding your family, foods should be as natural as possible. Not everything should be packaged with a slew of byproducts in them. If I can't pronounce it or don't know what it is, I don't use it in my food.

My absolute joy in life are my children! Though my focus is on skin, I can't help but want to share some personal information some of the time. It is titled "Know the Skin YOUR in" so I may share my personal life as a way of letting you in on my life journey. You'll find I am very candid with my feelings and express them freely. After all, if your not comfortable in YOUR own skin, then there are bigger issues to deal with. Am I right?

You may find that from time to time, I may share something that has absolutely nothing to do with skin, health or family. Simply me sharing my thoughts and feelings. Perhaps even a few "Rants & Raves" of my own. Everyone has those days.  I am mostly a positive being but I have my days like anyone else so I may share those days too. Writing those feelings out can often help me work through an issue and get back to reality. So If you don't like it, don't read it. Instead, check out all the other informative things I have to share.

In any case, I do all of this because I love it. Through out my life, I have always been the one delving into new ideas. Searching out information, detail by detail and sharing that with friends and family. Perhaps to a fault. Now I can share it with all of my readers. So I do hope that you find this useful and that you share the knowledge with your friends and family. My promise is to do my best and provide you with the best factual information I can, while being honest in sharing my life.

As always, Be Blessed, Be Healthy and Be Beautiful!
